| This koi is just under 10cm long. I bought it from koi atlantic a breeder in houtbay.I'm a little unsure of the sumi whether its from showa or sanke background. As for the hi I asked the guy who worked there how the strong the hi was on the oyagoi but he was unable to give me that information. So could you also perhaps give me some of your thoughts as to how you think the hi could develop? Thanks.

| Definitely looks like an aka bekko
The sumi is all above the lateral line, and cannot see it going past. There is does not look like an sumi on the head.
Not that the picture is very good, but that is my take on it.

| It looks aka bekko now but i know the breeder and he does showa and not sanke if i remember correctly. So chances are that this will become a Hi Showa or Hi Utsuri. |

Do you perhaps know which bloodlines this breeder uses as oyagoi? |
