| I am selling my babies.I decided to sell all of my home bred babies. The bottom line is that i just cant keep all of them and the idea of the spawning was to get the best and sell the rest and it is getting close to spawning time again. This actually gives everyone a very good oppertunity to buy some top class shiro utsuris cause these are the best of the best that i was keeping for myself and they come from very good blood lines.Out of thousands of babies these 13 where the only ones kept. About these shirosYou will notice that these koi have exceptional skin and amazing white and black. Fukerin is a sign of exceptional skin quality and you will notice that most of them have it. To see the future potential of white on a Shiro Utsuri you always look at the white and the end of the tail. - Have a look! Now, i do not know what is male or female yet but feel free to discuss it. I will try and mention in the remarks to what i think it is. Please also keep in mind that the sumi (black) on Shiro Utsuri are constantly changing till about the age of 2/3. Only after 2 years does it seem to settle down. So if your Shiro changes and the sumi goes down in 6 months dont get rid of it - it is just part of its development. Shiros tend to "loose" their black between the first and 2nd year the reason for this is simple that this is the time that the koi grows the most but dont get rid of it. It comes back by year 2. So when you buy a shiro you look at the skin, you want thick skin, you want snow white - white and string sumi. All the koi below has all the qualities. What you upto?Just to keep things transparent i also decided to post the ones that i will be keeping for myself aswell. Now some of you might be wondering what i am going to do with the money from the sales... Well i plan to buy another Shiro Utsuri from a specific breeder for further home breeding to strengthen the blood line. I have tried to price the koi according to their potential, if you are interested and feel the price is too high, give me pm and lets chat.

| Hi Wayne, Wow , some excellent shiros you have for sale, and your pricing is fantastic, for that quality fish from Japan you are looking at double the price. That's what I like about Shiro Utsuri's , they take so long to develope. will like too see all these fish in two years time. Wow and WELL DONE. |

| Hi Wayne Well done with your Shiro's they look STUNNING Come on Guys please support our local breeders, if you support us, it enable us to bring local standard close to Japan because we can buy better breeding stock to better our breeding quality. It take a lot of expensive infrastructure and development to breed decent quality koi and without the support of you guys, we can not build this up. Wayne- my favorite are: First place -No2 Second place- No7 Third place -No6 |

| Well i must say that i am a bit disappointed. Not only is no one interested in my babies but very few people have bothered to comment. Must say i did not expect this as i thought they are AWSOME and they have done so well for themselves at the koi show. If i may ask what is the problem? Are they too expensive or not good enough, to early to take a chance on? I am happy to negotiate and will ship anywhere and anyone are welcome to come and look at them yourself. Would hate to put them down cause i cant get homes for them. Thank you Costa, i share your view point. Shiros are not like Kohakus they are more long term. They come into their own at around 2-3 years. Thank you Miya Oki Koi for your comment. |

| Hey Wayne
Sorry for not commenting, did not as I am not in the market for a shiro at this point...however to comment on them I shall.
I think you have some stunning shiro's and they have definitely done well in a region that has got some good competitition.
I knwo that breeding, culling, growing takes a huge effort and that what yoiu have priced them at is an indication of the time and effort that has been put into raising these aswell as the quality that you have managed to get from these few you kept.
I guess anyone that wants a good shiro should consider these and make an offer, not many good shiro's around for sale that I have seen and these are as good as any.
My personal fav's are the one before the tancho and the one after the tancho....just a pity about the red eye |
