So on Sunday morning, after about 45min of careful chasing No6 was netted. No6 in the water looks bigger, and I would have guessed No6 at 40cm. But no......after careful measurements, the end result was only 36cm.....

Well done Adi It has come a long way from the original ugly sisters. One should refer back to the bowl on page one to appreciate the development.

Well, seems like I'm still a narrow hair ahead with 41cm although I'm part of the "informal' grow and show mine is from the same batch. Looking forward to seeing how my little one does at the baby show over the weekend.

I will also show the 'Monster'...a little chargoi i bred myself but wait till you see this little thing!

I am now suspicious to the extreme!

Bobby claims that his Koi is not growing but no definitive evidence of length has yet been produced. Is he going to pull the rabbit out of the hat and present #4 at some 10 cm bigger than any of the others?

Ps. May I ask that all entrants please be photographed with a ruler or some other confirmation of measurement.

Pardon me if I am usurping the judges’ authority but, from bitter experience, anything can be expected from a WeePee supporter!

Hey, Jan thanks for the vote of confidence, it will have to be a "moerse" rabbit that will even surprise me.!! Nothing to fear, check this space, my only option will be the Quallity card the little shite is always last to eat. Maybe he is just a slow starter on a long journey, who knows I have to keep my hopes up.

Sorry we are setting up our first Baby Koi Show in the WEEEPEEE, so maybe next week.

Measures shimee today. 35cm. Thats 94.44'% growth since i got her at 18cm on Feb 25. Or should i say 17cm in 83 days. (11 Weeks.) 1.5cm average per week.

She has grown 5cm since April the 10th when her last measurement was taken. (28 days ago / 4 weeks) Gee the koi does grow fast here in the WeePee. I wonder if Malmesbury is also in the WeePee

Ek is nuut aan hierdie soort ding maar wat ek wel graag wil byvoeg is die goeie advies wat Drikus my gegee het. Ek het elke 2e dag klei bygevoeg en ook shrimps gevoer gemeng met klei en garlic toe ek visse voor berei het vir skou. My groei was 10cm in een maand maar dinge het verander en die 2e maand was die voer/ klei toestande nie die selfde nei. Het slegs 1cm groei in volgende maand gehad. Hoop hierdie inligting is van waarde vir iemand

Hi Cliff. It could be the dent on the right hand side! I recived her with the dent and I am told it will not get better. Some Koi buddies i have.

If one can look past the dent, I think she is doing well in the quality department.

My sakai starting to show little growth, I suppose it the weather as I have cut down on my feeding considerably. On the 28th March it was 30cm, its currently on 33cm.

Hy groei nie nou so goed nie skat hom nou so 36 miskien, maar hy is nog baie mooi, ons water is baie koud die aande is tot so laag as 3 grade. My visse eet nog maar hulle is lui.

Maar ek het ook een van daai Big Blue bakke gekoop om hom in te meet later.

Can you see Mario, both the Hi Utzuri and Kokaku in same smaller pond, the one grows like hell and the other one is to lazy to eat.

ek dink jy moet weer na die weerberig kyk vanaand en n bietjie vroer opstaan in die oggend dan sal jy sien ons nag tempreature is 3 tot 4 grade.
Hierdie week nooit oor 7. Vir U inligting kyk gerus na die link daagliks sodat U ook weet wat daar buite aangaan.
