| Hi, This could be the CYPRINID HERPES VIRUS 1 (CHV-1) also known as Carp Pox or Papillomas.

| Looks like Papiloma or severe Carp pox, but finrot also started. I have suggested Acriflavine or Malachite Green for the finrot and salt and topical treatment. Schalk has already treated with a broad spectrum Fungus/bacteria treatment that contains Acriflavine. |

| That's papiloma but the area was openend up & got infected and seems to be in the early stages of finrot because of that.
Paul's treatment advice is good. What I also like as a topical treatment is propolis spray.

| Hi.
Did you get the infection to clear up?
I had one that had pox and I trimed it off but it grew back. It never got infected and none of the other koi ever got it. I eventually euthanized it. I had to thin out the herd and I couldn't sell it or keep it.
Clove Oil is good to put them to sleep.
Sometimes you have to make the hard decisions.
