Every body was buying them so I bought one too. .I think it is for dogs...But all koi hobbyists were buying it at the show so I decided to buy one too. It can feed every 2 hours U can adjust the amount of food. It has a microphone so U can record a personal message for your fish: Mine is come come come and I clap my hands. It operates with batteries or 6V adapter. It cost R640 I was testing it...and my dog attacked the fish food and ate it all...

Sure you can use the photos but remember to put a link somewhere back to this forum. That is salt in the bottom of the container to keep the snails out.

Very good idea Wayne. Bought mine two years ago and never used it because of the water proof issue.

I don't really like self feeders but I guess it does have its advantages for people that travel a lot. I feel you need to spend lots of time with your fish. That's a very nice idea you have there Wayne. No rain, wind or sun and the snails stay out. Lekka.

You will either have to push your feeder a bit forward or cut a hole in the bottom cause otherwise all the pellets will end up inside the container.

| My hole fits exactly around the feeder...tight fit! And if I put pattey for windows...nothing can enter inside the container... Even now the hole in he box it is only 2-3mm larger than the feeder part...It is an exact tight fit.
