Bought a microscope last night, second hand...
Have no idea if it is any good and if it will do the job, but it was high time I bought one.
Will it do the job and how good it is?

Looks like a decent biological Microscope and you can not go wrong with Nikon. Probably far beyond your needs as a koi hobbyist.

Congratulations. Thought you would have a Microscope long ago.

No hobbyist should go without a scope with a minimum enlargement of 300x.

It took me time to find one here...going to try it now...still reading the manual...he he he!
But I have used one before and I have seen most of the parasites...so I know them.
My poor fish...but I need to check if I have taken all the parasites out...
Yesterday I made my own malachite green anf formaline solution...Lent my bottle to some one who promised to replace it in two weeks from SA and never did.
so I made my own...first time...1.7g MG and 500ml formaline...medicated them yesterday and this morning they are still alive...he he he!
Bought in SA from pet masters a scale that measures 0.1g

Found them for sale second hand at USD425 I paid USD190...
so it was fine..just need to find out if it works now...
