Hi everyone, this is the biggest fish i have at the moment at just over 50cm. I couldnt get a nice pic of her because shes so wild, she wouldnt calm down, then she jumped out of the bowl before i could get a decent pic. Think its a mukashi ogon from what iv seen on the net. What do you guys think of her?

The only complaints i would have about this fish would be varying shades of colour on the head But from what i can see in the picture the fish has lovely fukurin and great body conformation .It would be great if we could see another picture so that we could comment more on the colour and lustre of the skin.
but other wise i think its a great fish Very Happy
And where did you get her? i lost a mukashi ogon a few years ago and i havent been able to find any decent ones for a while now...

I got it from wild coast koi here in East London. Iv been very lucky with this fish, its jumped out of the pond 3 times and every time we found it in time, luckily somebody was around, now I keep a net over my fish at all times. Its the most difficult fish to catch as well, its damn fast and it doesn't like being in a bowl! Ill try get a better pic next weekend.

I think our mukashi's must've been siblings Shocked mine had the exact same personality and the same suicidal tendency, except of course mine wasnt third time lucky it jumped out during the evening and my lab pup must've euthenaised him on the spot all we found the next morning was his tail Crying or Very sad

Here's another photo, I want to take a better photo next weekend, hopefully the sun will be out so the fukurin can really shine, it was overcast today when I took these photos.
