Some of my Koi are almost always at the water feature. Mostly the big one ( over 500mm). Some of the smaller and only some of those big ones, sometimes flip onto their sides as the swim but dont touch the bottom of the pon - I read somewhere that if they touch the bottom it means they have parasites or something. So are the Kois sick or just disfunctional? Please help.

As Koi "flash" pla iets hulle.
Toets eers jou water, vir Amonia, Nitite en pH vlakke, en doen 'n paar skrape om vas te stel of daar enige parasiete teenwoording is.

As jy sout wil in gooi...............werk op 3kg per 1000lt water

As die water kwaliteit dan nie rreg is nie, hoe verander ek dit? En is die storie van knoffel en parasiete waar? Sal Koi knoffel eet?

They are sick?

Signs could be any condition from water quality to behaviour after eating ?
Take a scraping, check the Koi’s gill filaments, should be red with no signs of white or black mucus, check your water and filter it should be clean and not smelling?
Being this time of year its probably a Parasite problem.
