Havnt heard from Jan, Marius or Mario in a looong time.

I moved my Kohaku to the main pond 5min ago. With winter approuching the main pond has a more stable tempreture. Main pond is sitting at 24'C.

and is the champ happy? hahaha now he will be a small fish in a big pond, where before......

I have a 'secret' operation going on. Louise tells me it is still more or less the same size( see see it every day) but other peole visitting the house say it is becoming bigger so I can't wait to see for myself when I am back home.

All 4 Koi still in QT and the transfer will be within the next 2 weeks or so. Koi in large pond eats like crazy but QT fish seems to be very calm and relaxed and eating slower. They come up every minute or so to eat and from what I understand, they eat out of hand

I removed my Kohaku from QT today. My Sakai had no growth. No 2 in same QT grew 4 cm, ate all the food of no 4 The only way I will be able to compete is with the Quality card.

Mine 27cm now. Not bad for a Koi on 2meals a day

Marius that is wonderfull from 19cm - 27cm in 4 weeks! Thats 8cm ( 42%) growth.

Everyone that has posted so far except Bobby has gotten exceptional growth. I am becoming more and more impressed with the sakai bloodline's growth potential...but we will have to see if it can maintain the quality.

Hi guys, my modem is in for repairs at the moment, thats why I have been so scarce, im just using dad's for now.
I will change my signature soon.. I took my sakai out of quarintine today and placed it in my pond. I am pleased with the growth I have got, its currently on 30cm now from 23cm, that is a 30% growth.

Jan I had the same problem but Paul helped me. You must go to preferences and then click yes on always attach my signature.

Wayne, I will be home soon to take a proper picture to post. Koi still in QT and I am happy so far with growth. Small water changes every 2d day and adding clay as well.

Ok, update on No6.

No6 moved from QT to the big pond on Sunday. Saturday was overcast and raining and had a small gap on Sunday to move the fish. One problem, had nobody around to take a picture with the measuring tape in place, but here are some of the other pics. No6 is now 33cm big, so growth from 26cm to 33cm, or 7cm, or 25%. Hoping now that the big water will make a diffierence too. No6 has in my opinion changed colour, and is now more orange then red on the body, not sure if I like this.....

I my view that's to be expected with the faster growth, my one did not do this but no growth.

Hi Adi no 2 and 4 same QT. No 2 turned slightly more orange and the Hi on no 4 improved, no color enhancer given. Personally I would not start to add color so early, but that is me.
