Thanks David It's cold in Malmesbury today, going to measure the filter levels today to get closer to final gravity level. Will first measure from center of skimmer to the filters to get a general water height. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Weather permitting I will fix some more pipework over the weekend. Filter bay is slowly taking shape. I will need to make a plan soon to remove my other Pod filter from my one QT tank to install here running from the skimmer. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Maar as dit moontlik verkeerd is dan sal dit my altyd pla.

Can't u use a ladder, and redo it from the top while it is in place? Obviously with some helpers.

It looks like the rain have given me a brake this week-end and will also effect next week's build. Need 3 more days for the wet-work to be completed, then start to get the plastering and wall cladding going.

Fixed the trickle towers installed and completed pipework, It was music to my ears when the water dropped into the concrete pond ex gravity fed towers, also tested the Trickle purge pipe into the filter chamber. With the rain we could only manage 4 more layers of brick above pond level.

Gladding, stene, blombak, stoep, plante ens. My kinders kom naweek vanaf George kuier, skoondogter is 'n argitek, sy sal moet kom red wat daar te redde is. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I am following this build with "great expectation" Bobby. This is going to be stunning! The concerns about the aesthetic are unfounded, and I'm sure your daughter / architect will concur. Can't wait to see the finished pond!

Thanks Jack, The pond especially the filter chamber is everything I wanted, my concern is the big flat outside wall effecting the aesthetic of my property. I hope you are right that one would be able to turn this into a positive. The concrete blocks are not helping at this point in time.

So troos jou daaraan. Alles werk mooi. Jan

Ek is baie opgewonde oor filter bay, hoop net alles gaan werk soos beplan. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

On the last pic you will see the white gutter pipe going underground, all the the gutter pipes from the area and rain water is diverted to the filter sump below grid.

The one thing that surprise me is the few questions about my filter chamber. Has all the SF's given up to convert me? This area was really designed for a LG. I cannot wait to play with the valves and do regular water changes with so little effort.
