Here is the other male, photo taken in 2009. Eugen calls in Waynie. lol

Home Bred - Torazo & Dainichi bloodlines - Page 2 644648_4247327974450_1858819660_n

I will be taking ownership of this koi later this year as Eugen is overstocked and i need its genetics. I will be using it for spawning. It has the same intense red and pure white as my own. I do not want to risk my own Supreme 7 in the spawning so "Waynie" will be taking his place.

Will be crossing this Kohaku male with a Showa but will be culling for Showa. Im doing this to increase the red quality of the showa that i have.

Be sure to post some update photos of both these babies. Think this Kohaku will work for Showa breeding. The pattern screem Showa but there is just no black and the white looks very good. You know this is how Mako Showa was born, They cross bred Kohaku and Showa to get a better body shaped Showa and better the hi. They culled for Showa and took them six years to develop the bloodline. Only then they start selling it to the public. Before that only a select few could buy from this offspring.

Hi,

I just want to share photos of a kohaku from that same spawning that Wayne did in 2008.

This is a male kohaku, the photo was taken in April this year and he was about 50cm at that time.

Sas, yours turned out awsome. Thank you very much for posting this. I really, really appreciate it. The kiwa on all these koi turned out very well. I did not know much about culling back then, just shows you how good the parents where.
