| Is jy van plan om meer te verf en dit dalk te verkoop?? Min mense het die gawe om kunstig te wees en ek dink dit is pragtig. Hou aan daarmee |

| Wayne, Moet nou net nie jou oor afsny nie, van Gog Hier is my eie ontwerp wat by my pompkamer hang. Die Kois' en agter grond is van "hardboard" gemaak en geverf, en is daarna geraam. Lyk nou nie so kunstig soos joune nie, maar iets anders. |

| And this one was recently done by her without my interference, that is why it is so much better (3 meters, oil on canvas) - a commission from one of my clients of his own koi.

| Paul, that is very well done. Amazing how much talent is the koi hobby.
Im doing my painting just for myself, painting something like koi is very personal. Someone else might not like the painting the way you have done it. The 3 kois in my painting are possible my best potentials in my own pond. I am painting on canvas with oil paint.
I still need to add shading and more detail to the kois themselfs. I regret every day the way i have done the water in my painting...i should have gone with a darker background. - When i work on the water it i am happy with it at night and the next morning i keep on seeing something that needs to be changed or fixed so the water is changing all the time. Plus another problem is that it does not really fit into the colour scheme of anything in my house....so where will it end up? |

| Water is one of the most difficult things to capture on a painting. Even the professionals battle and it is one reason why most paintings of koi almost excludes the water. I agree that you maybe should have done the background darker, and that is one thing you can not rectify later. You can still work on the koi, but will stuff it up if you change the background later.
However, you have done very well. |
