PostSubject: Plants in our pond   Giftige plante EmptyMon Jul 30, 2007 1:21 pm

Hi Annette, I only have water lillies in my pond and the Koi love them. The big leaves provide great shelter from birds and shade in the summer. I have blue, red and yellow lillies and they are stunning. I know that you can also get lillies that open up at night time. Lillies, however, are rather expensive but still worth every penny.
Happy pond-building and exploration.

I have water lillies and papyrus in my pond. Great for colour, shade in summer and shelter when the heron comes to visit. The lillies smell fantastic.
