Hi Martin

Ek sou 'n aggresiewe Potasium Permanganaat behandeling gevolg het as ek jy was.

Could it be an amonia spike? Last year a friend of mine clean her filter system 100% and not realizing wiped out the bacteria and Sounds similar to what you describe. She lost 12 fish and the others healed.

Try and think if there was anything you did differently.

Hope it gets better.

Hi Gigi

Groetnis
Martin

Hi Gigi
My appologies, wasnt paying attention ..I basicly changed THE FILTER SYSTEM. Major mistake by the looks of it.
I moved all the remaining fish to a kiddies pool and treated them with a good solid dose of Potasium Permanganaat... they seem to have healed well but i will only be able to tell tomorrow .
I too have lost about half of my fish , it just created a opportunity to buy better fish...( once i have mastered the art of pond keeping)
