hi, so the food i have always fed my koi are floating sticks, so how does this work with a pond surface skimmer. wont the skimmer pull in all the food?

wont that cause wastage...

switch skimmer off during feeding times if possible.

or get a feeding ring?

not a big problem.

Most people uses the floating feed.

Are you using the Tetra sticks?

yes, mostly i use the tetra sticks, but i also use other brands...i also tried my hand at home made food..it was just too much effort and i dont have the time at the moment.

i was thinking about the feeding ring setup. i could use a hoola hoop.

but im also thinking i shuold consider being able to turn off the skimmer..
more to think about and adjust to the setup of my pond..lol.
