| I bought this from a client yesterday: The photo is not good and I will take better photos when I take them out of quarantine. The Chagoi is apparently only three years old (?) and is already 76 cm. Judging from its bodyshape, I believe I can expect quite a lot of growth to come. He is as tame as can be. The definition of the Asagi is not bad, the head is clean, and the balance is good and the red on the side comes up to the lateral line and stop and the allignment of the scales are good. ? Unfortunately the red extends a bit too high close to the tail. It has red in the dorsal and pectoral fins, which is normally an indication that the Hi is more stable and will not go above the lateral line. The coloration are even throughout the net, and the net effect is fairly good. The Utsuri is too fat (poor bodyshape) but can be rectified with a good current?. The shiroij is not too bad. It don't have the required sumi on the head. There are still sumi to come through, so you never know. The sumi is not too dominant but could be more balanced. Rather too little sumi that too much. Shiro Utsuri can always surprise you with time. What do you think? |

| I like the Utsuri.
I think more sumi will appear on the head, and i can already see a "not showing yet sumi" pattern of the "people" word in Chinese / Japanese on the head. Which is a good sign of a good pattern will appear.
Body shape is not that bad, give her some current than i am sure the body shape will improve.

| There are definately some sumi underneath on the head and I hope you are right. I might get the V shape or sought after Y hachiware? This is one of the nice things about an Utsuri and Showa. It develops with time and often surprise you. I like an Utsuri because of the bold appearance of strenght, combined with the elegance of contrast. That is why I chose a Shiro Utsuri as my logo. |

| Paul,
nie sleg nie!
Die Asagi en Chagoi lyk soos mannetjies, die Utsuri is beslis 'n wyfie. Ek hou baie van die skerp Hi van die Asagi.
Wat het jy betaal as ek mag vra? |

| 3K for 3. Die Asagi was blykbaar 'n George skouwenner voor verlede jaar in die Asagi/Shusui klas? |
