| Hi, any comments on this soragoi would be appreciated. Would also like opinions on whether its male or female, iv been leaning towards it being a male. |

| Very nice netting, looks male. Fins and head looks like Chagoi, body like Soragoi. |

| This koi changes allot through the year, sometimes it will have a brown head and fins like in this pic then other times it goes grey like a proper soragoi. At one time it even had weird brown markings on each side where the centre of allot of the scales had a brown dot. Its from an ochiba spawning that's why I think it has the brown head and fins. |

| Depending on the size and age it could still turn out to be female but right now it looks male.
The Tancho in my avitar is long and thin but is definetely a female. A few weeks before the spawning season she will start putting on some weight. She's already three and a half and 20-22 Inches. They have to be at least two years before they mature.

| P.S.
The Showa in the Avitar next to her, looks thick and football shaped but it is definetely a Male.

| This chagoi/soragoi is 50cm long now, it should have been allot bigger for its age but its been in a small pond its whole life. Its around 4 years old now. |
