| We were working through some of my koi yesterday and i snapped these pics of my good friend Mark holding two of my koi. 1. The Karashigoi was supplied by Costa in April 2011. She was 58cm as a nissai then was bought from Marudo. She is now 84cm in less than 2 years later. Good water, good food and did I mention good water? 2. This sanke was puchsed by Karl from Dreamkoi at the SFF auction in 2009 as a nissai of 56cm. She is now around 74cm with amazing skin, hi and sumi. She has now started to bulk up nicely. As she was only 56cm as nissai I don't expect her to grow much past 80cm but I hope to get her to 78cm at least. |

| Hi Ernst, I must complement you, your fish are looking stunning , your koi keeping skills are great. The Japanese have always said, look after your water and your water will look after your fish. WELL DONE. |

| Another big lady. 79cm SFF kohaku. This pic was before she spawned. She is now snow white on the head. This was yesterday - just ook care of a few minor bumps on her. Not a very good photo... |

| This is one for the future. Around 70cm now. Had a close call with her this season because of some egg issues but we pulled her through and she seems fine now. |

| Lovely Big Rose Sanke. Now pushing 75cm as a 3.5 year old. Slow sumi development but all systems going very steady on this one. |

| Then there is some new kids on the block. They are currently residing in the 100 Ton pond at Dreamkoi in KZN. These two nissai sanke are from SFF. The heavy sumi one was bought at the October auction and is 59cm. The martuen sanke is again from Big Rose and a little smaller at 57cm at this stage but have great hopes for her. This one was for my daughter Lexi - she wanted a 'Zipp Fish' - well she got this one from Ogata. Stunning red hi on this one. |

| You really make us all very jealous. Well done and thanks for sharing.
Would love to see your fish and setup again. Pity I could not make it in December as I was on a boat cruise. Hope you guys had a pleasant day. |
