It's letting me send pic of Fooniki which is suppose to mean - give you a good feeling when you see or look at it, in Japanese. I'm not sure if it's spelled quite right.
Cliff has a thread on how to post pictures...nicely explained...look for it... Nice kohaku! |

This is a video of the love of my life playing with my precious jewels.
I think this is what cliff was talking about regarding videos but I still have to find the photo instructions. |

| Neli, I am Pure Puerto Rican decent (That came from Spainard and French) but born and raised in New York so the Puerto Ricans call me Newyorican and I was transplanted in Texas 30 years ago. The New Yorkers always thought I was Italian. Now besides the small spanish accent and mainly New York accent, I also have a small Texan Twaing in my voice sometimes. And besides that, I'm a big mouth (loud) so that doesn't help matters, Neli, are you really 96?????? |

| I sell mine also. But I sell, give away or cull. And I just say rehome regarding all three of them because most people don't want to know about the culling part.
I Just gave this Tobi to my friend, She did an exteremely clean to her filter system and said it have her an amonia spike and it killed about 12 of her fish.
This Tobi is already 8 Inches and only 5 months old. It and a few other tobies ate most of my fry this year and out of 2,000 left me with only 50. I had arm surgery and could not take care of them as I should have. I usually raise between 500 - 300 fry and sell, give and trade.
My friend is giving me one of her Shusui's for this one. |

| He is prestine, so white and defined. How big is he?
October is just a blink away. What type of spawning will you be doing? Indoors? Is it not cold in October over there? Our breeding season in Texas is April thru June. Are the seasons different in Africa?? I am very interested.
I will be happy to assist in any way from my previous experiences. I have been spawning for four years now. But I have 7 - 8 months before my fun begins.

He was a tosai around 20cm in May when I was in Japan. Now they sent me a picture he looks big...Dont know how many cm but U can see he has grown a lot. They said they will send my fish in September...hopefully. I am in Zambia...but We have a house in Jbg SA...So I met most of the people here since I visit there from time to time. Here is never too cold or too hot...but our cold season is from june to september. So spawning starts Oct. up to Feb. latest. I will be grateful for any help I can get. I sold some of my oyagoi last week...so I will see what is left for breeding...I am building a new pond . Did U see it..it is for the fish I bought in Japan.. |

| I would love weather like that.
What exactly is Oyagoi? Five year olds?
This is a picture of just a few of my babies from last year. Not this year.
This year was a disaster and waste of time mostly because of my surgery and the I only kept 12 babies to grow out and killed them in a water change accident.
The ones I'm getting out of my pond this week are mostly just ones I didn't want to deal with. But I have a few keepers, Ill try to take pics, time permitting.
I'll delete a previous pic to try and send this one. It's talking about not enough space again. |

| Okay, it worked.
Are you going to spawn specific koi in sperate tanks? What are you going to do for spawning material?

Oyagoi means parent...of any age. I want to separate the males from the females, and then do selective breeding...I just bought the plot next door, so I can shift all my fun activities there...without messing up the plot where I live... I found a old cracked pond there...huge...but needs revamping...Ones I finish the pond I am building I will revamp that one. I dont mind if it leaks a bit...at list I will not suck the babies during water changes... Want to put soil on the bottom, and dump all the eggs there...I hope to give them green water in the beginning...daphnia and brine shrimp. But I think a flock spawn for business will be better...people here dont know what a koi varieties is...they want different colors....but! I am not doing it really for the money...more for the fun...so I will try to do selective breeding. I found for U the link on how to post big pictures...copy the middle link... https://koionline.forumotion.com/t3050-proces-son-how-i-upload-my-picsAnd here is my first breeding: https://koionline.forumotion.com/t2840-my-spawning-attempts-2012this is what I use as spawning media. Can not find the picture....it is plastic strappings dies in bunches... I will post some pictures of my babies for U... |

Green water is infusoria for the fry...it algae mixed with infusoria..Best for babies in the first 10 days after hatching... It is the same green water U dont want in your pond...and U need to prepare it long before spawning...some people put chicken manure in the pond to start it... |
