Takahashi is famous for one of the oldest Koi blood lines in showa...If I remember well: Bashi Koi line... Famous and valued...But this year the health of the Koi I bought from him was terrible...All my fish is OK apart from the 3 out of the 4 koi I got from Takahashi...One died... They had low immunity and some kind of Very large bumps, red swollen, with raised scales......on the scaled Koi and ulcers on the doitsu combined with terrible fin rot...But one is OK for now.... Infection that is hard to treat....Lets hope they will be OK. But yours can be fine....maybe mine were so stressed???? But the showa that died arrived like that. I got 2 very nice Kindai showas from him.

Tommy I took the two Showa's and the Murata Kohaku. I must say it was difficult to choose from the Showa's, so many nice ones to choose from but I like Kindai Showa's.

Collin, I know they willbring U lots of Joy...Are this considered Kindai? Not too sure how much White a Kindai should have...I know mine is for sure since it is almost all white...he he he! Did U see it...I posted it for U here since We both bought Takahashi showa... The left one on the top picture I like best... Reminds me of doris the pipe...A Koi Tim waddy sold that looked like a pipe when young...and ended up winning GC 4 times in a row until it was killed by accident. I like the pedincula...body shape and the ballance of colours... Lovely showa.

Stunning Showa's. Only imported once from Takahashi and the quality received from them surprised me the most, especially becaue they ere not very expensive. Will buy Takahashi stock anytime again.
