Are they any good? I dont know how to chose showa....I pick what Looks pretty to me...Dont like them with much sumi, but lots of white...

A Judge taught me at one of our Koi shows that when he chooses a Showa he uses the following criteria:

1- Body Shape

2- Looks at the koi as if choosing a kohaku (strong Hi,and nice kohaku pattern)

3- White on the koi (must be good)

4 Lastly Sumi

5 Head should have 3 colours

Don't know how accurate this method is but hope it helps you a bit

I know all the theory by heart...what I dont know is how to implement it....He he he!
I know in theory how a good body shape should look like...but in practice there are too many factors that disrupt me....and plus that I have no good Koi to look at here...so I end up choosing with my heart...Maybe out of ten...I will have one better one...
U see I wanted to chose them myself....it is part of the fun...so I wanted to like them...myself...but what do U think about this showa?
U forgot one thing...it should not have hi on the left pec...he he he! I saw it but I did not mind...

I think the one to the right in the second last pic will give you the best results in time.

I like best the white one...but then I dont know how to chose them and I chose with the heart.
