| Come now Ouma! Fix the leaks so we can see the pond running. Looking better and better and a few small problems are really not bad. Think you will be rewarded well in the end for all your hard work. Well done so far |

Cant wait , good luck I can not drain the pond....connected a pipe to the settlement chamber outlet of the BD to drain the pond, and reduced the water to around 80 cm in the pond...electricity went I failed to prime it to start the pump...it seems the 4 inch pipe is just too much for the pump to lift the water...sent my foreman to buy a submersible pump....so I can drain it in order to glue the pipes...he will bring it this morning. Let's hope I will start filling it today again...it is not yet decorated but that I can do even later... |

| My pipes are leaking. Dug them all out and trying to drain the pond...the electricity went out and the gadget I made to pump the water through the BD pipe stopped working. Failed to prime it....the water in the pond was too little left...and the pump can not lift it in the 4" BD pipe...so sent my foreman to buy some submersible pump...it will be here before lunch so I can manage to dry the pipes and glue them. Then I will test the pond again and see if it is only the pipes... | I am warning U not to laugh! This is a bicycle tyre, intended to be used as an aerated BD...he he he! I bought big air stones for the BD in SA....for the BD...but I am scared to use it. Airstones here block too much...and fast...so I got this tube to experiment if it will work as air diffuser for the BD...it seems it works well. Initially I made only few holes...just to test it...now I removed the tubes from my trolley , and will puncture them....they are smaller! So let's hope that problem is solved...will attach them to the BD cover, so they don't float. |

| Q, This are desperate efforts to make some kind of a semblance of a pond...but I tried to every thing in such a manner that I can add later K1... And other improvements. For now all is DIY. |

| This is how I made the izeki frames. I filled the bottom pipe with concrete so it does not float...will paint the concrete with rubber paint. Might turn the frames upside down??? The top part is larger since it sits on top of the filter chamber.
