I am finally home, together with some of my fish....when I say some I mean 50 of them.
I think I got carried away, The rest are coming later, if all is well.

I need to give half of them (5) away, but have no idea which ones are good, so I can keep them.
They came 22 in a box, and James and I chose one him one me and so on....but I am not sure if I was choosing fish or Just catching Koi with less sumi...I dont like showa with much sumi.
Can U please try and help me which ones to choose...which ones are good?
they are all from Sakai, if it makes any difference.
I dont want to bowl them just now, they will be too stressed. I will post them later one by one.
Please tell me which ones to keep.

Are they any good? I did not select them. It is Mr Sakai who selected them.

I posted the goshiki by accident too.
I will ask about them too, but in another post.
The showa are Tosai from the Matsunosuke blood line, that grows very large, and has magoi blood in them.

i dont know anything about choosing a showa but i like this one the most!! busy looking for 1 at the moment where did u get yours??

I think they are pretty decent looking showa.....as for telling you which one to take that would be impossible as you know with showa the worst looking one now could become the best looking one in 2 years or so.

Keep the one that catches your eye the most, the one that draws you to it and keep that one, otherwise you may give it away and end up wondering about it forever.

The goshiki's look very good as well, will be fun watching these grow

I got mine from Japan. went there with James from Pongoi Koi.
this ones are from sakai....it is supposed to be one of the best blood lines.
they were 22 in the box, James picked 11 and me too. We were taking turns picking, but I am sure the showa he picked is much better than mine. He knows how to chose. He wanted to help me by selecting the top ones in one group, and then We pick one each alternating, but I know the showa I like is different so I opted to chose them by my self....I wanted pretty ones...not necessarily show quality.
So if U want a good showa, ask James to post the pictures of his 11 showas. U will not be disappointed.
The showa U liked is from Hiroi and it is gin rin.
James has much better gin rin showas...They were mixed in the box with the goshiki, so I picked 3 but the one I really like is the gin rin kindai showa... Will post pictures later.

I already gave one away in SA. U should have told me earlier Darling. I am too far now.
I will keep probably the weird looking ones...Dont know how a good showa should look like...
But U are right, I will look at them so I am the one that is supposed to like them, Just that I dont know which one will look good when older.
I will post pictures with numbers so U can tell me easier which ones are better.
Sorry for the late reply. I was given a puppy present as soon as arrived, and it stole my modem...hid it under the sofa.
