Stunning Kohaku Costa, Mmmm...the man is getting good now hey!

Hey Costa! Learning fast hey! Love this Kohaku. Think this is a fine example of how a good Kohaku should look like.

Costa, this is a stunning example. I love it. Is this fish available?

Hi Pine , she is a stunning kohaku, but sorry she is already sold.

Almost the perfect Kohaku. Bobyshape to die for, shiroji unbelievable for it's size. Strong consistent hi. Pattern could be better but at this size, pattern does not count that much.

Really stunning.

This is a stunning Nidan Koi with its Inazuma pattern. The Odome is nice and the Shiroji and Hi on the fish are good. The sashi will become good later.
It is always difficult to judge a Koi from a picture, see what happens if the saturation and contrast settings are changed and you crop the photo.

Just to remind U:
Upload your picture to flicker. U can use a very simple program for that free of charge called
Pick flick...search for it on the apple store.....free!
Then go to flicker....look for : share....u will find two codes there HTML and BCC....
Use the BCC code, just copy it.
Then paste it in the small picture icon....when U open the reply window....it is on top and it looks like a small picture with frame...

To edit a picture just open the picture in photos....see the edit button top right...
There is easy...U will figure it out.

Cossie, know that you know how to crop, you must learn to rotate the pic that the head points downward.

WOW!! this is an amazing koi - i love it.

A few tips:
It will help when taking photos of Koi to ad a few drops of MS222 or Clover-oil into the die bowl water. This will relax the fish, and it will cause the fish to spread its pectoral fins for a better photo.
The back of the Koi should just be covered with water
Bubbles and dirt should be removed from the water.
Change the water if the gills should bleed.
If possible never use the flash or take a photo in direct sunlight, although a polarizing filter ( ND Filter) could help.
Always use the “smallest” F-stop setting for the camera lens

Unfortunately if you are a koi dealer and wish to trade online or with people that cant come and vist you need to be a photographer as well.
