sorry for the bad news, but the koi is dead 5 days later, it was a very bad news for me because after an experiment like this you are very fast attached on, you fight at the same time with the koi and hope that he still alive, it was not that case

Shame! Any way the tumor was really bad...so no surprise there... I so wished it will survive...I wonder what was the problem...secondary infection perhaps?

anyway Big thanks again to Rob and is wife to let me film this operation, the video is a worldwide success
But I am not so happy when I think on the fish, I prefer a Happy-end

The operation, has thought me a lot...I am very grateful for that. U can try and ask the doctor or someone else to do simple treatments for ulcer, fin rot (with a trim), split fin treatment=stitching or gluing,and other things like injections.... Those are very useful visual for a beginner.
