Advice on liners/ pond building Empty
PostSubject: Advice on liners/ pond building   Advice on liners/ pond building EmptyFri Apr 01, 2011 5:23 am

Hi all, I have just joined the site. I have an existing pond, but my fish have outgrown it, and I wish to build a bigger pond. I would be really grateful for any advice on do's and don'ts, especially on types of liners, best quality etc. The first pond I built, I did without asking for help, and have been paying for it for 5 years. I live near Muizenberg, Cape Town, and if any of you are near there, A visit would be great, ( I make great coffee!).
Regards Jonathan

I have had pond liners in my various ponds since 1972. My present pond is now 11 years old.

It's the cheapest way to build a pond by far.

Liner must be a 1000 microm (1 mm).

Plan your pond on paper before you build - its also the cheapest way to do it.

If you nee help drop me a line.
