Building my koi pond Empty
PostSubject: Re: Building my koi pond   Building my koi pond EmptySat Dec 22, 2012 10:27 pm

Well let me start by saying what I know about koi and koi keeping I learnt from this site.I only really got involved earlier this year. The amount of help and knowledge from everybody has been amasing!

So it's just on 25000 lt for the pond alone.BD into a 1500 lt SC. From there I've run 2 lines. 1st line is a 0.75 kw pump via sandfilter to a 1800 lt bio filled with my own media. Then into a 800 lt flowerbox and return to pond via waterfall. 2nd line is also a 0.75 kw pump and I intend running this via sandfilter and then split the line with one going straight back to the pond at bottom and middel level. The other line via ultrazap bio with bio balls and ultrazap uv light.

This set up is made up of what I've learnt and what I have available.

ANY comments or help welcomed

Hi Quinten, eish ! Baie stadsig op die oomblik. Ek het die muur klaar ge-clad en is nou besig om die filters te bou. Ongelukkig was ek die laaste paar naweke besig met werk en skool sport-'n mens moet maar die kinders ondersteun !. Ek sal foto's opsit sodra daar weer vordering is. Groete
