| I have not bought Aquanutro for a long time, but due to a temporary lack of availability of Shogun, I bought a few bags of Aqua Nutro High Protein at the factory yesterday pending delivery of Shogun.
I was quite surprised to see that the pellets are now more brownish and not as red as before and do not sink. Have they changed it, or is it only my batch?
I know of a lot of people who changed their brand from Aqua Nutro to other brands because the High Protein pellets sink.

| Good to hear....Now its just the smell problem. Do one get large growth pellets yet? or do they still insist that fish over 30cm don't need growth pellets? |

| Still only small High Protein.
They now also have an Aqua Nutro All rounder, but because it has less protein than the maintenance, I did not buy any. |

| Hi Admin
What is wrong with sinking pellets?
Obviously you not going to throw it near your bottom drains.
Koi are natural bottom feeders, and i think rather than them taking a few floating pellets at atime, they will gobble more from the ground.
Mixing floating and sinking i think is the idea.

| Hi Anver, yes, koi are actually bottom feeders, but I like to view my koi during feeding time. It is a daily "social event", I believe it makes the koi more tame if you feed floating pellets, and feeding time is when you may spot health problems with fish and monitor their development easier. So much easier if they come up for feeding.
Bottom drains are often a concern, but so does skimmer boxes unless you use a feeding ring or put the pump off. |
