| Buying 2 showas but want to make sure I am getting the best 2 from what they have. Please advise which 2 you would take. The first 2 are the one's I went with, which 2 would you have gone with and why? I'm wondering if I shouldn't drop # 1 and rather get # 2 and 3.....minds a little fuzzy at the moment so need some help. I have a kindai as well as a normal hi showa at the moment in my pond. thanks |

| No 1 Unbalanced pattern, no red on the rear side but not a bad option.
No 2 Poor bodyshape, almost deformed head
No 3 Best bodyshape of the four and balanced but poor pectoral. (Red in pecs, unbalanced and slight split fin) Might become too dark and too busy for me.
No 4 I personally like No 4 as the pattern is balanced, the shiroji appears to be very good and the hi and Sumi strong. I like Kindai showa's. The only problem is that it appears to be a male and does not have the typical accepted Showa bodyshape, but rather a Sanke body shape and the head is too sharp.
I would pass on all of them but if I have to choose, I would go for 1 & 3 |

| Hi,
I must agree with Paul, but I would not buy any of them. |

| it was either buy 2 showas or the sanke I posted a while ago.....just not happy with the lack of sumi at the back of the sanke......giving me doubts.....I also enjoy buying fish in the 20 - 30cm range as I enjoy watcing them grow into something |

| I prefer the sanke personally. I don't like any of the showas, the are just to busy for my liking. Rather get the sanke. But it's your choice, if you not happy with any of them shop around |

| Hi Cliff
Costa brings in excellent showa from time to time, you should ask him if you want a good one. |

| I would go for the sanke and not worry about the absence of sumi in the rear. The sanke is much better quality fish than any of those showas. Look at the body shape, luster, colour quality, sashi & kiwa....its so much beter those others dont even compare. Look at the white.....
It might suprise you down the road as sumi appears by defacto in the rear of the fish...so it might still come but i cant promise. |
