My son became very enthusiastic about koi after he realised that he can make some money. He buys at cost less 50% from me which is a huge advantage for him. He has "his own" 5000 liter liner pond which is actually one of my veggie filters. The Heron grabbed some of his fish, but he still has five very nice one's left.
Here are two of them, what do you think about the quality?

Very nice fish, both of them. Hope you replace the loss of the heron, surely it is your heron who took his fish.

I agree Neville.... Did he sign a paper saying add koi at own risk?
You should've put some net over the pond.... Come on dad, replace the koi!

Hi Paul If he selected them by himself then he is definately "Pa se Kind." The koi are stunning and he must be proud to possess such beautiful koi. At our Eastern Cape koi show we have juniors competing with their koi and they enjoy it. If the Western Cape also have a junior competition he should enter his koi.
Enjoy your son, as only for a short time you can hold their hands afterwards you hold them in your heart.
