Gin is good and the body is ok - a bit weak towards the tail.

As for the pattern: Ochiba translated (or so I'm told!) means autum leaves floating on water - the pattern should reflect that. With ochiba you can also think like for kohaku - stepped pattern is better than one step. Hi on head not going down over eyes etc.

Very nice. Pitty that it is so heavy on the front with all brown on the head, and eyes covered totally.

I personally like approximately 60% silver/grey and 40% brown on an Ochiba.

The ginrin is fairly good and when judging ginrin B, I believe the ginrin is more important than pattern?

Remember that it will compete against all ginrin varieties except Go-Sanke/Utsuri and it is quite a large category with lots of competition.
