I bought this koi as a GinRin Goshiki 6 months back, to me it looks as if it`s a GinRin Kohaku. Any comments ,what do you think of this koi?

I "honestly" don't like it.....I do how ever offer a home for ugly free fish so before you throw this ugly fish down the toilet ...give it to me, will put it in my pond with the rest of my ugly fish

This is going to be a stunner and a very high quality koi. Often difficult to see the difference between Kohaku and Goshiki at this size, especially from a photo. If Goshiki, the hi almost looks metallic with a deeper red.

whaaaat!! The 3 meter depth is a huge help but there must be more to it.... eish!! You must be having me on - surely? alrighty then - wheres the camera? What food are you using? question : with a pond so deep, I guess you wont be able to see them at the bottom?? or can you? another question: how on earth do you catch them in such a deep pond?

Hi Joe I am no Koi quality expert but I like that Showa, would like to see it from the front, also looks male to me. Growing too fast is also not always a good thing, I have a Danichi Sanke also male that grew 17cm in 5 months 10000l water and she looked bad due to the excessive growth.

Lots more black coming on that koi. White and red looks good. bit on the thin side but for its length is accaptable but it should start to show some bulk from 50cm on.
