| Does anyone know if I can buy ready made food with garlic? I've tried several occasions to make my own, but the minute it hits the water it disintegrates into tiny pieces. I've tried binding with honey etc, but it still does that. Should I be drying it out? |

| Hi Stumbe You do get food with garlic pre-mixed but not in this country. Most of us use Olive oil that contains garlic. We pour a bit over the pellets and then mix it uo a bit then you must leave the pellets to suck the oil up. After a few hours i then add honey and montmorilite clay. You must ask Bobby for the proper recipy or you can go to this forum. |

| Thanks Wayne I wish they would sell that here. I'm sure there would be a call for it. okay I got this from one of Pieters posts. - Quote :
- Bestanddele:
Voeg die klei altyd laaste by.

| Yes they stay like putty and does not cloud the water. I make small round balls out of the food and feed a handful at a time. They love it but since I don't have someone at home during the day they mostly only get this treat on weekend |

At first I used bread instead of clay but did not work for me, but I know many people use bread instead of clay, so maybe I did something wrong. To me the clay binds better with the pellets/vita/garlic mix than bread |

| What also works, you can buy the food paste......have seen as various shops, they normally come in 1kg bags... Take that add 30-40g of garlic, put in a bucket and mix.....
When i feed take 10 teaspoons full of teh mixed powder but in a empty container, at the pond add some pond water mix until putty like, roll into smaller balls and through into the water, they get tis in addition to their normal food.
Have to add have only been doing this for the last 7 days liek this so far works well. |
