Filtration on a pond? I never had any on my first gold fish pond. When i mailed some uk dealers about filtration for my " pond" they said....just replace all the water weekly. |

I got fed up with the sand filter clogging, so took out the sand, and replaced with bio filter media. so I had small pump>sand filter with no sand>uv light> pondand .75 pump>1000lt home made bio filter> pond. ... no settlement chamber so the maintenance on these filters was huge and time consuming, but my water was always perfect and in all my years never had a sick fish. oh forgot to say, one small bottom drain 50mm and it worked. |
