Box for filter is built, connecting pipes this afternoon, will have bottom drain - to settlement chamber - 1st filter box 800l - 2nd filter box 800l then pump, to gravel filter and then back into pond. Both filter boxes are stacked with Terbo-Pac from Terbo Plastics (http://www.terboplastics.co.za/index.htm).

What comes out into the pond should then be very clos to pure "Bon Aqua"

Should be operational by Saturday lunch

and we are almost 100% clear hehehe almost pumping Bon Aqua now.
Filter came online late Saturday afternoon, Sunday could see clearly to the bottom of sallow side 1.6 meters. Sunday evening could make out bottom of deep side...2.0 meters, this morning could seedirt on 2 meters level....
Can see the fish again hahha if they in the shollow side....will clean out dirt, and we should be able to drink that water....

So what did I learn in 2009? Need to be patient. the water in my pond is now crystal clear, can see small stones at over 2 meters depth.

The key was to wait and be patient and not to expect things to completely happen over night!
