Thanks Angryant
I would love to take all the credit but I have lots of advisers. You always have to cover yourself in case of an disaster. Should all go well I will claim all the credit and should it be a disaster well I then have a back door. Very Happy

One does not really see 2 pond designs being done the same. I believe that most systems will work, its a question of how much maintenance a system requires and how well the maintenance is executed to create a healthy water environment for our Koi.

Hi Maruis ek gebruik twee soorte pompies.

Airline manifold, complete EA air-pump installation above pond water level.

I started to install one of the two air-pumps tonight. The two center lines provide air to the two BD's and the air-line on the left and far right are operative during the KI cleaning process. The air to the BD's will be closed during the cleaning process to provide the necessary air to clean the KI in the pods.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I will install the one 55w quarts UV between airline and light and from there upwards toward trickle tower.

Today the plan is to do more cladding around the pond and the walkway. Wednesday I wanted to paint the pond, but it looks like the intermittent rain has other plans for me!

What happened to my garden space? Remember the sad spaniel face!

Plus minus 30,000lt of water will now take up this space.

Due to the lack of response I assume that the general view must be that yours truly F.... the front yard and did not succeed to restore some of the view. Question MY two spaniels seems to be more forgiving, but they do not have much of a choice. No

Goeie naand almal.

Oom bobby, dit lyk pragtig. Die vissies sal hul wat verbeel. So hoeveel kos die setup jou so ver of is dit beter om maar nie tevra nie. Razz

Die filter put lyk baie netjies, regtig. Kom daar 'n dakkie oor?

A Micro float level switch asook 'n Rain bird 24v solenoid valve en transformer.

20” 20 Micron Big blue pleated sediment filter.
20” 5 Micron Big blue Carbon block filter.

Hi dankie julle
Ek het regtig nie tred met kostes gehou nie, wat sou dit help ek wou dit gedoen kry, sal eendag alles probeer bymekaar kry, as alles werk is dit nie 'n probleem nie want alles is betaal, maar as dit sal tragies wees as ek die SF man moet rede gee om my gat te skop. Embarassed

Question

Time will tell if this was a good or a bad decision. Rolling Eyes
