| Eugen, Eugen I must salute you for convincing me to place the window in this spot, it looks amazing, water now 50% up the window @ 28000lt and it looks like an Aquarium, I am going to enjoy this and never add up the cost. I will have to add one of those #@#$#@ Yen Koi to give Ernst and the other experts in Cape Town a run for their money. |

| Thanks to all Agryant the water looks very inviting, if I had the confidence that the window would not pop when I go in, I would do some diving myself. |

| Will do so Julie, This is the iron lady that designed this monster for me, she takes no prisoners, and knows what is to know about the world of Koi. Julie you have been very inspirational and I hope I can meet you one day, or better you come and visit your den. This is also the reason why my filter will be named: KoiCare Filter Den
Julie you deserve a medallion for your patience with my 1000 plus questions the past 18 months.
Allow me to use this opportunity to thank Cape Koi Aquarium, Drikus, Eugen and his dad for their hands on help with this build. I would also like to thank all the keepers on this forum that assisted with the build and made the journey a very memorable one. |

| I vote as follows; 1. Bobby’s new pond post as the best Soapie of the year even though not featured on the TV but on the Koi forum. 2. The best looking and equipped pond of the year. 3. Bobby for president.
Well done Bobby what a pond!!!!!!
I am now so inspired that my builder was this morning contracted to start my new pond on Monday 5 January. This will be right next to the patio with window and all (funds permitting). |

| That window is just fantastic!!! Absolutely awesome! Thanks for the praise Bobby! and for naming the filter area....... It really was not a problem at all... the past 18 months.... has it been that long..... My final wish for you is that Kindai makes a complete 100% recovery and gets to swim in her new home soon some day! You might think that you are impatient...but I have seen you show patience for a very very long time with her....... after the experience I have had with her I have learnt a very valuable lesson........ NEVER GIVE UP..... NO MATTER HOW BAD THINGS SEEM!!! WELL DONE!!! |

Julie I have to confess. The clutter free area around ponds, my study and garage comes with a price tag. All the fittings, pumps, pipes, glue, uv's etc etc needed for Tuesday is stored in the filter area, hence no pictures. |

| Well done Bobby!
This is how I know you - only the best or nothing at all for your koi.
May your pond bring you many years of joy and produce many great champions. |

| Hi Bobby This amazing in every aspect of koi keeping! You have set a standard that few will be able to emulate. Your work has been so thoroughly planned and I'm sure you're sitting back tonight and reflecting with immense satisfaction on a 'job extremely well done'. I'm sure the many hours of enjoyment of a masterpiece in the making will be even more overwhelming when your 'beauties' - not AngryAnt - are swimming in their new home. STUNNING....BLIKSEMS STUNNING!!!! |

| Thanks Collin and you are hitting the nail on the head Jack, its been a long journey and a few very stressful days filling the pond. With the help of Cape Koi Aquarium I still need to get gravity levels in filter 100% and the the challenge to get water ready and healthy for my babies. Luckily I have planned ahead and have about 5 bags of matured KI waiting in the wings. My 2009 WCKC Mature Grand Champion Kohako purchased from Orient Koi is idling in his 10,000lt pond waiting for her Xmas box. I will not take changes but is also eager to see my Koi in the bigger environment.

Jack, All healthy water environments irrespective of any bells and whistles is very important for the Koi hobby and adds koi value. Remember the word of the SF Me Bobby is a LG, my pond is designed with this in mind and me spoiling myself and in the process having to fix the mess I started in my front garden. LG |
