| Hi,
Where do you find PVC Piping 50mm class 6 in black?
Midrand or Pretoria if possible.
How much should it cost for a 6m length?
Thanks, Cameron |

| Hi Cam You must immigrate to the Free State. At Prestige Irrigation you will pay R70 a 6m length, and a very friendly sale lady to help you. |

| PlastiCor - Take Rachel de Beer turnoff into Pta North from the city end. First street right after the railway bridge.Koos De la Rey road. About hundred meters down the road on right hand side. They sell bends, pipes, pumps, and many more handy stuff and they are cheap as well.

| So off I go to Plasticor to get class 6 piping and fittings.
One of the guys there kept asking me why are you using class 6 pvc for a swimming pool pump because that piping takes up to 16 bar pressure and a swimming pool pump can barely make 2 bar..
He recommended I just use the standard white pvc piping that is SABS approved but doesn't have a class rating.
He also claimed the blue pvc goes brittle in the sun and the white doesn't.
Any comments? |
