Vossie, waterveranderings sal jou probleem net vererger. Is jou UV lig voldoende? Werk hy, hoe oud is die buis?

Nee Vossie,

Repaired my UV light. The bayonet-type holder for the starter had become brittle and subsequently broke so the light didn't start up. now hopefully the light will clear the algae again. Any suggestions on how long it will take? 30 Watt UV on 15000 litres. I'd like to see my fish before I go on leave.

Jack, I would say it depends for how long it has been green, my mate just put a 55w UV on a 40 000lt pond for the first time. Been green for about a year and he can see fish now 2 meters down after 2 weeks. Not gin clear or anywhere near that yet but a hell of a lot better. IF you're pond has only been green for a short while I would guess 1 - 2 weeks and you're pond should be clear

The algae problem can be solved with help of better filtration of water.
