| Well my problems don't stop- waiting for someone to come tomorrow for the fish with ?pox.
I have been noticing that the pond is slowly leaking, but the worst happened this pm- my biggest fish, very tame, was probably hit by lightning. Perfectly normal this morning, but after the storm, lying on the bottom. Now at the surface and still breathing.
This is after I got rid of 5 fish (and put one out). Luckily, I visited Collin and Lee Ann last week and bought some fish- kohaku, showa, shiro utsuri and kumonryo. Most still small. (As well as a bigger Tancho)- but A pond needs a big fish!!
Phoned friends- nothing I can do-wait and see, but the outcome appear to be scoliosis or death. Well by now (6 hours later) still alive!
Wanted to share the video with you: https://s261.photobucket.com/albums/ii62/avz10/?action=view¤t=MOVIE0008.flv
Any other advice??

| To give the whole scenario again: The fish was fine yesterday morning, eating, etc. This fish has the tendency to lie quite close to the surface. From 14hoo-16h00 we had a massive thunderstorm, I unplugged everything, etc. When the storm started to subside, my gardener called me and said the fish was dead. At that stage lying on the bottom. When I took the video the fish was floating.Have a look at this morning's video:

Some of you might remember that I had a similar problem in January last year- was not at home. Three fish, if I remember correctly, were affected. This is a video clip- looks very similar https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5Cv_Y8EYVI

| I put him out of his misery this morning. 69 cm!
Just thought if people can compare the video of this morning and quite similar movements in the video of last year. |

Lyk of die senustelsel asangetas is. Sterkte. |

| Hi Jaco
Dit was direk na 'n massiewe storm, so as mense raak/doodgeslaan kan word, kan dit seker met visse ook gebeur.
En dit was my enigste ordentlike groot vis in die dam.
Parameters- geen nitriet of nitraat, pH 7.6
