A question was asked what the difference is between the Speck Magic and Speck Porpoise pumps. In my opinion the following:
The Speck Magic is more expensive (R 1600) but uses less electricity because it comes in a 0.25 watt version and delivers R 10 000 liters / hour which is ideal for a koi pond up to 15 000 liters. 25 watts/1000 liters
The smallest Speck Porpoise comes in 0.45 (almost twice as much electricity) and delivers 15 000 liters / hour. They are cheaper at R 1200.00. 30 watts/1000 liters
