that is a stunning kohaku and i expect it would do very well on a show.......depending on the other competition of course....kohaku is always a very strongly contested variety if not the strrongest!

The tail tube is very thick, has a nice long body, the white looks good and the pattern as well.

Only thing that got me wondering is it looks male?

Where is this fish from?

Beautiful koi. Clean and sharp, deep coloring. I like the tail stop.

How old and big is this koi? If it is young it could be female, just has to bulk up during the spawning season.

I have two Japanese female koi and right now in usa they look like males, it's not until the Spring when they start eating again do they get thick.

My fish breed so they do thin out. If you do not breed them once they are mature they will stay bulked up.
