I will like to know what other hobbys you do have ?
I have a Nitro remote controle car
And hae starte ith Bonsai trees now

| Nothing else for me....I'm too scared to get involved in another hobby, mainly cos if I do I would neglect anything else altogether, like my fish and I have spent too much money to lose interest.
Just how I work, not bright enough to focus on 2 things I guess....altho this bonsai thing does appeal to me somewhat |

| A bit on the Petrol Head side, mess around with PC's a bit, did spin a few records professionally but gave that up for the love of KOI. But I didn't loose my passion for music, just the late nights... or Shall I say early mornings  Then like to build a meal every now and then... Italian.. what can I say  |

| I do fly fishing alot in summer! I keep tropical aquariums aswell just started my brackish tank last week. When I have enough money wana start a marine tank! Since I built my pond myself I think I'm taking a liking to building too  |

| Pieter, I'm getting myself the Canon 1000D SLR Digital Camera Starter Kit with Canon 18-55mm and Sigma 70-300mm Lenses.
Just want something that can take good family pics when need be and good koi pics.
Is this a good enough camera for that?....I have no experience with camera's at all |

| I do scuba diving (in the warmer months LOL) otherwise I am into light sport aircraft flying. No freedom like it in the world!!!

| Want to take up golf again and my course is coming on. 15 000 squares of lawn done and waiting for a bit warmer weather to start with the greens. 4 under cover building block driving range tee off's protected against the wet and windy Cape almost done and 6 outdoor tee off's.
Bought a scrambler a few weeks ago but discovered that I am not as young anymore. My back is taking the punch on the off road. Will have to trade it in for a damn golf cart and realize that I am old, LOL
My other passion, 4x4 trips, although I have not been on a good one lately. |

| i TRIED MANY HOBBIES...one I have never abandoned...Gardening...
I have done it all...fishing with passion...all kind of arts...Aquariums...diving for days...shooting.. hunting...U name it I have done it (I think) and all of them with passion that evaporates after some time...
Want to breed guppies for fun...show quality...and starting soon a bonsai DIY... |

If you want to use it for “family photos” or “casual photography” only, then I suggest that you get a Canon Power Shot SX 30 is. This camera has a fix lens with a zoom up-to 820mm with a starting F-stop of 2,8 with all the settings from Auto, Aperture-priority, Programme-Mode, Shutter-priority to Manual as well as a Scene and motion picture mode. It is a very good camera for a beginner and value for money. You should pick it up for less then R 5000 |
