Its locally bred by penrith koi farm, from japanese parents. Its actually my first showa. Its so difficult to find good fish in EL so I bought a few at the show, even though my new pond isn't finished yet. Once my pond is done ill make a plan to buy some good fish.

In the photo you can't see much white on this showa, but when its swimming in my pond you see allot more white, I'm hoping that as it grows the hi will move up and more white will be visible from directly above it, especially once it gets a bit fatter. There's a small bit of white on its head, how do the colours develop on a showa, does the hi shrink as the koi grows like a kohaku?

I think it will end up being a nice looking showa when its bigger.

The white will come up abit into the head.
