| Hi all
I have a 45000l pond which I've stocked with Talapia. They are doing well (apart from Mr Cormorant and Mrs Heron dropping in on occasion)
My Dad inherited some Koi from a friend and now wants to get rid of them.
Would they eat my smaller Talapia or cause any other disturbance to frog and or insect life that is thriving in my current pond?

Are Koi carnivorous? I have many small Talapia and am loosing enough to Mr Cormorant and Mrs Heron... |

| I think they will chow some of the Tilapia (when very small) unless they have sufficient alternatives to eat. |

| Well, its been two weeks now and all is well. Koi are loving their new pond and Talapia are still breeding:) Also, haven't seen Mr Comorant nor Mrs Heron since the larger Koi are here:)  , Lets hope that lasts  Cell pics is the best I have at the moment... - Attachments

| I put tilapia in my daughter's pond, last year, and We were planning to take it to the dam.
Now there are gold fish tilapia and Koi together.
The tilapia are over a KG and have lots of babies...they look happy together,
