Thanks david! Your list speaks volumes, knowing that some things have 26 days maximum incubation period... David do U know if any of the fish U suspect might have come from Marusei?

KHV is just not that symple. We can't only look at who were the latest dealars. As Phillip indicated, it can come from any of those dealers, "eeny meany miney mo" or even from a net used, a filter bought, another dealer that was visited by David etc, etc etc. Might even be a bird. There are just so much we still have to learn about the decease.

Thanks admin! This is what I know. Newly introduced acute infection manifest within 26 days If left dry (better on the sun) the virus dies within 24 hrs.. In filter muck can survive up to two weeks without a host.. Latent fish can break out today or after 5 years... Fry is the first to succumb, or young fish! So it can be a miny mainy mo for sure. How true it is this I also dont know, but it is from reputable sources.

It’s a step in the right direction for a civilized debate that you published the list of dates shown above of fish purchased.
But a lack of detail can cause perceptions?
The fish you got from me were 1cm fry...did you mix them with the large Koi? Did you lose them too? I hope you did not for I have hundreds of beautiful babies from that batch... some even mixed in with my breeding stock?
As you are aware fry cannot survive a KHV attack its total wipe out at infection. Only when the fish is two - three years old does it stand a chance to develop antibodies.
