I have known about Hybrid Koi, which have incredible growth rates and superb quality and followed with interest Koi No Yohei, parent stock including the Tokai grand champion (Super Dragon) her offspring have been in great demand all round the world. These hybrid Koi apparently have a growth rate of 1cm a week as Tosai

Koi No Yohei main varieties include:
-Go-Sanke, (Kohaku, Sanke, Showa)
-Yamabuki Ogons

Allot of people have had mixed thoughts and feelings about the growth of Hybrid Koi, I know on Select Nishikigoi International forum (club-nishikigoi.phpbb3pro.com/) allot of discussions have taken place and allot of Hybrid Koi keepers are keeping track of their growth rate which seems to be true.
