Hi -

I used a Speck 5L leaf trap that you screw onto the front of your pump for many years. Worked very well and prolonged the time in between having to open your pump to clean the leaf trap.

I have not used the two I have for about 11 years now.

My garden and pond are very mature now and I get alot of algae and leaves in the pump leaf trap.

Does any know if these Speck leaf traps are still available?

You can use a leaf trap of an old Quality pump.
