Hi,

What do you guys know about these new pumps from KLBengineering?

PC-36000 pushes 36K l @ 280 watts (.28 KW)
PC-18000 pushes 18k l @ 90 Watts (.09KW)

I am assuming these are Max rates @ 0 head.

How do they compare performance wise with the pedrollo?

Thanks

Hi David

Please see a discussion on the PC18000 on this forum at https://koionline.forumotion.com/t2494-low-wattage-pumps

The Resun PC18000 and Waterfall PC18000 is basically the same thing, only with different names, although the Waterfall is more expensive.

I am extremely happy with the PC18000's I am running and took delivery of a PC36000 this morning which will be installed on my new selling ponds.

Thanks Paul.
So basically it is a better option than the pedrollo?
max flow slightly less than the pedrollo, but the pedrollo is R1900-00.
And then uses less power, also i don't need more than 20k p/h. in fact i will manipulate the head so that i get around 14k p/h.

I would say it is a much better option than the high flow Pedrollo, mainly because of the electricity consumption.

2 x PC18 000 = 36 000 liters/hour @ 180 watts.

Even if you need a high head, you can use the PC36000 which has a head of 5 meters and on 2.5 m you will still have a delivery of 22 000 liters/hour @ only 280 watts. The Pedrollo can't match this.
