Summer Empty
PostSubject: Summer   Summer EmptyMon Oct 18, 2010 11:50 am

It looks like summer finally arrived in the Cape(and even the curry cup is on it's way here, bounce bounce

The fish starts to eat like crazy, and summer has been announced by the fish starting to spawn.

Some pictures taken yesterday:

Summer Hs2

Summer Hs10

Summer Hs11

One of my four controlled spawnings:

Kohaku still full of eggs
Summer Hs8

Same Kohaku an hour later, slim like a male
Summer Hs6

Spawned Ginrin Matsunosuke bloodline Sanke/Kohaku/Purachina, Purachina/Purachina, Wagoi Sanke/Sanke and Yamabuki/Purachina.

I was very keen on spawning my high quality ginrin Ochiba's kept specifically for spawning. However, when I wanted to add the male yesterday morning, I was greeted with a pond full of eggs before I could add the male. She must have helped herself already on Saturday with the strong current I had in the spawning tank. Crying or Very sad
